USES
ACRONITE SOF provides an extremely hard wearing, abrasion resistant surface to new concrete floors, it is applied by shaken-on method and is ideally suited for all industrial areas, trucking lanes, loading bays, car parks, warehouse floors, repair workshops, machine shops etc. which are subject to the heaviest traffic.

Abrasion
ACRONITE SOF applied concrete surface has shown 300% more abrasion resistance than control concrete.

SHELF LIFE : 6 months if unopened.

STORAGE : Store in a cool dry place.

ACRONITE SOF should preferably be applied on a base concrete with the following parameters.Cement content/m3

When surface water from the freshly laid concrete evaporates away / disappears ACRONITE – SOF may be spread over and broadcast on to the floor and then floating may be carried out with wooden float or power float on a large area. 50% of the required material may be first applied and finally the balance material, the floating methods as above may be repeated to provide uniform finish. Overwork with the flot should be avoided. There is an evidence that too-early application of ACRONITE over bleed water straight away gives rise to lower strength and surface dusting and also too late application at a later hardening stages gives rise to razing and pitting on the concrete surface. These two aspects should be kept in mind while working with floor hardeners.

CURING
Curing is the essence of making hardened concrete floor. Normal curing.ACRONITE SOF is ready to use at site. No cement or aggregates should be added to it.
