USES
Bonding ceramic wall and floor tiles and mosaic tiles in exterior and interiors such as bathrooms, toilets, shower recesses, laundries and swimming pools. For use in wet industrial areas such as abattoirs and dairies. Can be most suitably applied over rendered brickwork, brick masonry and concrete surfaces. It is also quite suitable over asbestos cement sheet, plywood, plaster, board, hardboard, metals old tiles and painted surfaces, provided the paint is not loose and flaking.

PROPERTIES
Pack -A Milky white liquid polymer
Pack -B Grey powder
Colour Mixed material generally grey but other colours are available on request.
Mixing ratio Pack A : Pack B shall be 1: 3 by wt.
Coverage Around 1 m2 for 3 mm thickness per 4.0 kg. of mixed materials applied by notched trowel
Consistency When mixed at the above ratio, a thick workable paste results.
Working time 30-60 minutes depending upon climatic conditions.

CURING
As the applied material shall be covered by tile no curing is required, otherwise normal water curing will do.

CLEANING
Incurred material can be removed by washing with water but cured/hardened material, may be removed mechanically.

APPLICATION
Surface Preparation
The surface must be structurally sound, level and free from defects, dust, grease and excess moisture. All plastered surfaces should be finished with wooden float, dampen all surfaces all porous surfaces with water, then wipe off excess water before applying adhesive. Always use rough sides for application of adhesive
Mixing
Pack A & B are pre-measured quantities or else use them A:B in the mixing ratio as above. Always but powder “B” into liquid “A” by mixing continuously till a thick workable paste results. This workable material may be used immediately

WALL APPLICATION
Spread the cementious adhesive as mixed above on to the surface using 3 mm notched trowel when laying ceramic wall tiles. Do not spread than 1 m2 at a time and ensure that the adhesive is wet tiles are laid. If the adhesive dries due to excessive delay in affixing the tiles, remove the adhesive and comb out a fresh layer.
The underside of the tile must be in good contact with the adhesive, therefore twist each tile slightly on the surface bed or tap the tile carefully with the handle of a hammer, while positioning of the tile is carried out. Never place tiles on applied spot of adhesive, and this method may cause failure. When laying large areas, care should be taken to make provision for expansion joints in the minimum of 5 metres both vertically and horizontally. They should also coincide with the joints in the substrate if provided. While laying large heavy ceramic tiles on walls, always work upwards from the floor and use spacing pegs to provide a grouting joint.

FLOOR APPLICATION
Spread the adhesive mortar on the surface using 3 mm notched trowel for lying flat ceramic and mosaic tiles. Tiles, which have grooves, ridges or knobs on the back, should be laid using 6 mm notched trowel. Follow all laying procedure as explained in case of wall application. To lay tiles over a wood floor, ensure firstly that the floor is level and even. Cover the floor with asbestos sheet with screw on the wood every 30 cm both horizontally and vertically.

Cavity filling materials or grouts should not be placed on the space between tiles for the least 24 hours after completion of tilling. The adhesive can be used as grout if the space left between tile is not less than 2mm. Our white or coloured grouts may be available on request.

PACKING
In 4 kg. 20 kg. & 40 kg. with liquid pack “A” and powder pack “B” in a polypack.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
Non-toxic, non-inflammable can be used safely.

SHELF LIFE
If stored in a cool dry place and unopened pack, shelf like of 1 year can be observed but use it before six months as the product is Cementitious.
