TECHNICAL DATA :
AREA OF APPLICATION : Cement Plaster, Brick Work, Asbestos etc.
METHOD OF APPLICATION : Brush / Roller / Spray.
THINNER : Municipal water.
DRYING TIME : The same will depend upon temperature and humidity. However, for normal conditions :Touch Dry : 30 minutes
RECOATING INTERVAL : Minimum 4 hours
COVERAGE : Coverage will vary according to the porosity and texture of the surface. However, on an average smooth surface, the coverage will be 60-65 sq. ft. per ltr. in two coats.
FINISH : Smooth & Matt
SHADES : As per Shade Card
PACKING : 20 Ltrs, 10 Ltrs., 4 Ltrs. & 1 Ltr.
CLEANING UP : Clean all equipment with water immediately after use.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE :-
SURFACE PREPARATION : Freshly plastered surfaces should be left to dry for atleast 8 to 12 weeks. Old surfaces should be sound and free from all dirt, dust, oil or any other powdery materials. All surface cracks and dents should be filled with cement sand mortar of 1:3 and should be leveled. In case of fungus, algae or efflorescence, the surface should be wire brushed and washed thoroughly with any suitable fungicide/algaecide solution and an acidic solution to retard efflorescence. All dampness, seapage or leakage should be treated and surface should be completely dry at the time of painting.
APPLICATION : For new surface, one volume of ACROGUARD should be diluted with one volume of water to make a primer coat and same should be used as a base coat. Subsequent 2 coats should be painted on the surface by thinning 2 parts ACROGUARD with one part of water after mixing the same thoroughly. It is advisable to strain the mixed material before application. Recoating interval between 1st and 2nd coat should be approximately 4 hours. The painted surface should be allowed to air dry for atleast 2 to 3 days.Normally, two coats are sufficient. However, on horizontal surfaces such as parapets, ledges etc. three coats are recommended.
Material Handling :
1. Store in a cool & dry place.
2. Stir well before use. Strain if needed.
3. Do not over-thin the paint or over-extend the brush.
